Roanoke, Va. — Kids Square is excited to welcome families from across the community to a **FREE Winter STEAM Night** on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. The event will feature fun, hands-on, winter-themed activities designed to engage children and families through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

“We are thrilled to be able to offer an evening of learning for children and families,” Kids Square Executive Director Felicia Branham said.  “It’s winter, and we want families to have the chance to come out and enjoy some time together.”

Winter STEAM Night offers an interactive evening where children can explore, create, and learn alongside their families in a playful and welcoming environment. 

Activities include: LEGO snowflake building station, ice castle building with magnetic tiles, snowflake storm experiment, Antarctic animals water table exploration and much more.

Activities will be available while supplies last, and admission is free.

Kids Square extends special thanks to Elevation Church – Roanoke for their generous support in making this free community event possible and ensuring access to enriching educational experiences for families.

Families are encouraged to enjoy the full range of activities offered throughout the evening.
